Proviron – Must have drug for Sportsmen

If you want to make it really big in the world of professional sports, especially in body building or athletics, Proviron is one of the best and safest options for you when it comes to improving muscle mass and body strength with anabolic steroids and performance enhancing drugs.

Proviron or Mesterolone is a derivative of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) and rated by sportsmen and coaches as the best oral androgenic steroid in the town. This affordable, easily accessible, and safe steroid can be purchased online with or without a medical prescription from a legal steroid pharmacy dealing in steroids.

Proviron helps sportsmen in more than just a way as it offers the unique ability of improving or restoring the natural production of testosterone. Since testosterone deficiency is a common problem for sportsmen on steroids, Proviron helps them stay carefree from all hassles and find a new meaning for performance, body strength, and muscle mass in as short as six to eight weeks. If that was not all, this drug is also effective to improve count and quality of sperms besides improving libido levels to significant extents.

In addition to the above-mentioned advantages, Proviron also helps sportsmen on steroids stay away from estrogenic side effects like oily skin, acne, and fluid retention during a steroid cycle by inhibiting conversion of cycle steroids to estrogens. This non-addictive drug should be used by men only and only after a qualified medical recommendation has approved such use.

When used in doses of 25-100 mg per day, Proviron demonstrates its true benefits. A dose higher than this has to be approved by a doctor as Proviron abuse can lead to side effects like acne, fatigue, reduced libido, and painful erections.

Halotestin – Effective drug for treating testosterone deficiency

The world of professional sports is dominated by the use of anabolic steroids and performance enhancing drugs. However, use of harsh and aromatizable steroids or a medical complication can lead to deficiency of testosterone, the male sex hormone. This is the time when a drug known as Halotestin comes into the picture.

Halotestin, also known as fluoxymesterone, is recommended to sportsmen treated for testosterone deficiency. The drug has the unique ability of stimulating normal growth and development of male sexual organs. It is also effective in maintaining secondary sex characteristics and even recommended by medical practitioners to treat breast cancer. It is also admired for enhancing stamina, muscle mass, muscle function, performance, and muscle size.

It is essential for potential Halotestin users to use it as directed by the doctor and check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions. Halotestin use is not recommended to individuals suffering from breast or prostate cancer or having an allergy to any ingredient in Halotestin or pregnant women or women planning to become pregnant. Its recommended dose is 25-50 mg per day for sportsmen and 10-40 mg per day and 5-20 mg per day for women with breast cancer and hypogonadal males, respectively. The abuse of Halotestin can lead to side effects such as changes in sexual desire, absence of menstrual flow, acne, breast swelling or tenderness, deepening of voice, growth of facial hair, headache, irregular menstrual flow, mood changes, painful prolonged erection, and swelling of the clitoris.

In order to maintain its shelf life, Halotestin is required to be stored at a room temperature, between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C). Moreover, it should be protected against humidity, heat, light, children, and pets.

Braun doesn’t fit steroid user stereotype

Ryan Braun, who joined the Milwaukee Brewers in 2007, does not fit the image fans conjure up when they hear that a baseball slugger has been accused of using performance enhancing drugs.

Braun helped drive the Brewers to the playoffs and was voted the NFL’s Most Valuable Player.

From Greenbaypressgazette.com:

A spokesman for Braun said in a statement issued to ESPN and The Associated Press that there are “highly unusual circumstances surrounding this case which will support Ryan’s complete innocence.”

ESPN cited two sources Saturday in first reporting the result, saying Braun tested positive for elevated levels of testosterone, adding that a later test by the World Anti-Doping Agency lab in Montreal determined the testosterone was synthetic. Braun is appealing, according to people familiar with the case.

“One theory is that anabolic steroids hasten the repair of those muscle fibers, and allow you to work out harder,” Norman Fost, a professor of pediatrics and director of the bioethics program at the University of Wisconsin, said.

Contador clenbuterol hearing completed

The four-day hearing of Alberto Contador at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) over his positive for clenbuterol in the 2010 Tour finished, with a verdict in the case expected some time early in the New Year.

Contador, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), and World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) all have maintained their initial positions during the hearing in Lausanne, Switzerland.

From Cyclingweekly.co.uk:

The UCI and WADA believe Contador deserves a ban of up to two years for doping, and Contador claims the positive was due to his eating a contaminated steak and that he should go clear.

Contador – unusually for athletes – has been present throughout the hearing, which ended with a 15-minute personal appeal by the Spaniard in defence of his case. However, Contador – who was cross-examined on Wednesday – did not make any comments to the press when he left the CAS building on Thursday afternoon, and neither did WADA and the UCI’s lawyers.

Contador v. the UCI/WADA will also be remembered as the second longest in CAS history after the case of deposed 2006 Tour winner Floyd Landis testing positive for testosterone.

MLB still failing test, says Conte

BALCO founder Victor Conte has remarked that the Major League Baseball may have come to an agreement with its players to test their blood for human growth hormone but the game would be required to come to grips with its present testing before it touts itself as the leader in new drug testing.

MLB should use a more sophisticated form of detecting testosterone or its HGH testing won’t really make an impact as players often make use of small amounts of testosterone in conjunction with HGH, Conte said.

From Articles.nydailynews.com:

HGH is not effective unless it is used in conjunction with testosterone or other anabolic steroids,” Conte says. “It’s important to understand that HGH is not an anabolic agent. It is an anti-catabolic agent. It basically helps to reduce muscle degradation and enables a player to maintain the gains they’ve made using steroids for a longer period of time. By itself, HGH has been shown to have no significant performance-enhancing effects.”

Conte, who is now an advocate for stronger testing, has been saying for years that the 4-to-1 testosterone to epitestosterone ratio used by baseball and other leagues to detect testosterone use is ineffective.

Testosterone gels, creams and patches will clear an MLB player’s system within a matter of hours and be below the 4 to 1 T/E ratio allowable in urine,” he says. “A player could possibly use a fast-acting form of testosterone at night after a game to help with recovery and their T/E ratio would be within the normal range by the time they would get to the ballpark the next evening.

“If MLB were to implement CIR testing, I believe they would possibly catch a significant number of players using testosterone,” Conte says.

Woman in drug denial agrees to testing

DNA testing would be used by police in the case against an East Maitland woman who has denied 10 drug-related charges, to ascertain whether she handled bags and jars containing illegal substances found in her home.

The 43-year-old Jeanette Bieman submitted to application of the police for a DNA swab when she appeared briefly in court.

From Maitlandmercury.com.au:

She has pleaded not guilty to 10 charges laid after police searched her Brisbane Street home on July 13, including allowing her residence to be used as drug premises; possession of a total of 3.94 grams of amphetamine; possession of nine grams of cannabis; possession of one LSD tablet; possession of restricted substances Sustanon 250 (testosterone) and five Seroqel tablets containing Quetiapinene Funarate; possession of a crossbow without a permit; and possession of $1560 suspected to be the proceeds of crime.

The application made to the court for a DNA sample from Ms Bieman said police believed there were reasonable grounds that “taking of a forensic procedure might produce evidence tending to confirm or disprove the suspect committed the offence”.

Bieman denied knowledge of the substances when police searched her home.

Sonnen receives one year suspension

UFC middleweight contender Chael Sonnen has been suspended by the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) following a failed drug test he took prior to his UFC 117 bout against middleweight champion Anderson Silva on Aug. 7, 2010.

Sonnen dominated the fight with takedowns and punches but Silva managed to make a triangle choke submission to force Sonnen to tap out.

From Prommanow.com:

The California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) has suspended the license of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Chael Sonnen, after Sonnen tested positive for steroids, a banned substance.

A sample from Sonnen’s August 6 drug test came back with a high T/E (testosterone-to-estrogen) level, which is indicative of anabolic steroid use. CSAC learned of the results September 2 and ordered a second test, which also came back positive for steroid use. CSAC received test results from the second sample on September 14 and suspended Sonnen two days later. He is suspended for one year. Sonnen has 30 days to appeal the decision.

“The use of anabolic steroids and other banned substances are not tolerated by the commission,” said CSAC Executive Officer George Dodd. “Anabolic agents put the health and safety of both the user and his opponents at risk.”

The sample of Sonnen was sent to the World Anti-doping Agency test facility at the University of California, Los Angeles on August 6, 2010 for processing.
