Baronne Veterinary Clinic robbed by an unidentified man
Jimmy Darbonne, a Crime Stoppers federal agent said officers with the Grand Coteau Police Department were informed of the burglary of the Baronne Veterinary Clinic early on the morning of Sunday.
Now, police need the help of the citizens to clear the case in Grand Coteau. The theft reportedly stole steroids used in treating medical conditions in animals.
A reward amounting to $1,000 is provided for any information leading to the arrest of the said suspect.
According to Darbonne, the theft broke the glass on the front door in order to gain entry inside the building.
Evidence indicated that the door to the medical room has been opened. Someone was clearly inside and took more than $3,000 worth of steroids.
Darbonne explained that in order to be qualified for the reward, a case does not necessarily have to go into trial. An arrest and the acceptance of the charges by the district attorney’s office are sufficient for any informant to take the reward money.
