Human Chorionic Gonadotropin or HCG belongs to the drug class of Gonadotropin that is known to mimic the level of luteinizing hormone (LH). HCG is highly effective for inducing ovulation in the world of medicines and is equally effective for restoring the natural production of testosterone.
In addition to all these benefits, HCG can easily stimulate testes when natural testosterone production is inhibited due to any reason. This miracle drug is also useful for losing body weight apart from treating undescended testicles in young males.
Chemical Behavior
The IUPAC name of this legendary product is (2S)-2-amino-6-[[(2R)-1-(carboxymethylamino)-1-oxo-3-sulfanylpropan-2-yl]amino]-6-oxohexanoic acid. Its chemical formula is C11H19N3O6S.
Action Mechanism
Human Chorionic Gonadotropin starts and binds stimulation of the receptors on the Leydig cell for triggering the process of synthesis and secretion of testosterone.
HCG is also responsible for stimulating gonadal steroid hormone production by facilitating testes’ interstitial cells to produce ovary’s corpus luteum and androgens.
Recommended Dose
The recommended dose of HCG is 1500-3000 I.U. every 4-5th day, when taken in an injectable form (with or without meals). The dose must be followed for a maximum period of 2-3 weeks so that the body does not immune to HCG benefits.
HCG may be used in a combination for stacking purposes with Nolvadex to eliminate the risk of HPTA inhibition.
