Major drug bust operation in El Dorado led to the arrest of three
The West El Dorado Narcotics Enforcement Team started the investigations in January 2009. The investigation concluded in October 14 after Jason Glavin was arrested after he delivered 100 ampoules of anabolic steroids to an undercover agent in a parking lot in Citrus Heights.
Jason Glavin, a proprietor of a now-closed nutritional supplement company in Folson known as Max Muscle, was recently accused of manufacturing anabolic steroids.
Along with Glavin was a Fair Oaks couple caught for possession of controlled substance, its selling, distribution and transportation.
Erin O’Neil, 40, had been caught together with his wife Amy, 32 in their residence at Catsleglen Way in Fair Oaks.
Glavin, meanwhile, was caught in his Borgata Way home in El Dorado. Another search warrant was also served in the 3000 block of Elorduy Lane in Elverta where officials reportedly identified as the secret steroids laboratory.
Within the Elverta home were recovered more than 500 vials of anabolic steroids and 1,850 capsules of anabolic steroid pills.
According to Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge Gordon Taylor of the Drug Enforcement Administration, a big anabolic steroids lab was also discovered within.
According to Taylor, these apprehensions were a major seizure in the El Dorado area.
From El Dorado Hills:
“In terms of underground steroid labs, this was a huge seizure for this area,” Taylor said. “The illegal use of anabolic steroids can be a dangerous practice, especially for young people. This danger is only compounded when drug rings manufacture steroids in unsanitary, unsterilized underground labs like we found in this case.”
